Dear Friends,

I received a short notice text from one of my Freedom protester friends that Prime Minister Blackface was going to be in Alliston ON this morning shovelling out more billions in taxpayer’s money to create “good paying green jobs” and fight the never ending and largely fictitious “climate emergency.”

To my left is Shelby Sheep wearing a face diaper, as so many Canadians did; indeed Canadians continued dutifully wearing their face diapers, even long after it became clear they did nothing to stop the spread of airborne viruses.

Behind me is the Alliston Honda Plant where Trudeau was this morning announcing $ 5 billion in government handouts to bribe Honda to build its battery plant and hopefully create 1000 jobs in the Alliston area.

I am not sure if Trudeau saw us or not. Lots of police vehicles and black SUV’s (all internal combustion engines) drove by us. The security presence around Trudeau is larger by multitudes than any other Prime Minister in Canada’s history.

I honestly hope these plants turn some sort of profit and create sustainable jobs, not because I think there is a climate emergency (there isn’t, the whole premise for these battery plants is really an expensive fraud), but because the failure of these plants will be absolutely catastrophic for Canadians, and especially Ontarians, if and when these plants fail.

Our Prime Minister has dumped nearly the same amount of money into his “green initiatives” with the caveat we have a much smaller economy to absorb the impact if our taxpayer subsized “green” companies fail as Obama did with his “Green New Deal” in 2009, which still sparks recriminations in Washington political circles to this day.

Sadly, both history and the present leave me not terribly optimistic. Lets look at recent history south of the border. Does any of these names ring a bell? Solyndra, Abound Solar, Fisker Automotive, A123 Systems, etc….. These are companies funded by Obama’s “Green New Deal” and the above list is not exhaustive. In 2009 Obama dumped billions of tax dollars into electric car batteries, solar panels and various other “green” schemes, and the one common thread is none of the companies lasted more than a few years, some even failed in less than two years. Obama wasted billions of tax dollars and there is not a single American job to show for it 15 years later. A total loss. And if one believes far left American congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is all about the science, than Obama’s didn’t even buy the planet an extra year of survival for the human species.

Ocasio-Cortez screamed in 2009 that we only had 12 years left to live if “we don’t address climate emergency.” This was nearly ten years to the day after Obama dumped $35 billion into “Green energy leadership.” Even by her metric Obama’s investments in “green” companies was a total failure. Plant food emmissions are as high as ever and aside from a higher debt load and lower standard of living for American taxpayers thanks to these misguided policies, it seems we are still only 8 years away from oblivion. I also note Alexandria for all her hysteria and being all about the science on how we are extincting ourselves by not completely deindustrializing and living in tents, used internal combustion engine cars at all of her campaign and business stops and preferred flying over taking a “green” Amtrak 100% of the time. When asked about her huge plant food er, I mean carbon footprint after saying the world was ending due to plant food, er, I mean carbon emmissions, she replied to the New York Post “I’m just living in the world.”

In light of this above history, the present also has concerns for me. To be clear, I don’t think EVs are without a future and while I don’t want to see them imposed on Canadian consumers, I’m not against them either. (Though I do believe lithium batteries are more problematic for the environment than internal combustion engines.) I have a friend with a Tesla and 3 years in he is happy enough with his wife’s purchase. He also lives in Vancouver, has his own charging station, and seldom drives more than 100 kilometres in his car.

In the prairies and Northern Ontario it is a very different story for EVs. All evidence is they are not viable and Trudeau is a mad man trying to impose them in these environments. Edmonton transit purchased a dozen or so electric buses and a year later they are mostly grounded in the bus yard. Their battery ranges are under 200 km and they don’t last long enough to effictively finish their routes. Three quarters of the buses aren’t running at all, the company that sold and was supposed to service these buses no longer exists, and no one knows how to fix them. Edmonton invested $60 million taxpayer dollars in these buses and three years later the money is gone and the buses are mostly gone.

Hertz has purchased 20,000 electric vehicles and in my mind they provide an excellent insight into EVs when they are rigorously driven, by all sorts of people, for longer distances. The cars performed poorly, had higher accident and maintenance costs, and were overall more problematic and less profitable than internal combustion engines. Hertz is selling its EVs at steep disounts and replacing them with internal combustion engine vehicles. It is worth noting these problems were in the US market which has more charging stations and warmer weather than the Canadian market.

I wish Trudeau never invested tens of billions of Canadian taxpayer dollars in these EV plants and instead just quit stifling our natural gas, mining, and oil industries. Energy and natural resources is something Canada does naturally. We have the resources and skills to responsibly harvest, produce, and export energy and natural resources. If our oil and gas and mining companies were allowed to produce their products and get them to market, we would produce many billions of dollars in profit, wages and royalties for social programs, infrastructure and debt reduction. We would create hundreds of thousands of good paying and sustainable jobs that we don’t have now thanks to a hostile federal government and we could attain a standard of living for Canadians comparable to Norway. Most importantly we would not need a penny of government subsidy to make this miracle happen.

As it is, if these EV plants fail in a few years due to no market for the millions of batteries these plants are to produce annually; even more Canadians will be using food banks in the years to come thanks to the debt and unemployment that will be left as these plants shutter their doors, than are using them now. As it stands a record 2,000,000 Canadians used foodbanks this year already. A completely avoidable and unnecessary tragedy.

The young man on the left with a yellow flag recognized who I was and informed me his highschool social studies teacher discussed my activism in his class. Apparently, the highschool students in his class “learned” that I am an “evil Schwartz Character” or something to that effect. I am, according to the teacher, “full of hate” and “far right.” I am guessing the teacher is likely an evangelical homosexual, or an evangelical NDP, or both.

Freedom Protest in Mississauga by Square One Mall two weeks ago. A young woman who was a passenger in a Ford F-150 pickup truck read my sign and rolled down her window and asked me to pray for her brother. She declined to tell me why she wanted me to pray for her brother, but I did pray for him anyways.

My next court date for my “Wilful promotion of hatred” charge, for which I was once already acquitted thanks to the excellent work of John Rosen, is this coming Monday. In answer to our many prayers it appears I have competent legal counsel once again. Mindy Caterina will be leading my defense and she might be receiving help from a forminable lawyer with expertise in constitutional challenges. At this point I think Mindy would prefer I don’t say too much more, but I will ask those of you who pray for me that you lift this up in prayer. While I was altogether open to the idea of conducting my own trial and indeed the last time I did it, I definitely presented a prophetic witness and from a Biblical point of view had a solid defense; I also note that I wound up in the Regina Correctional Centre for 8 days on contempt of court. Then I needed my good friend Tom Schuck, an actual lawyer to get me out of jail and acquitted on appeal. Anecdotally, self representation is more fun and it presents more oportunity to share the Gospel and the truth as I see it, but acquittals and avoiding jail time seems a more likely outcome with lawyers. So, my go to is to thank the Lord for lawyers and be grateful when He provides them.
